I've only considered moving to Arkansas once in my life, but common sense kicked in just in time. Perhaps I was wrong as I've learned there is a place in Arkansas that will pay Missouri residents big bucks to move there.

I would like to thank my good internet pal Nick Johnson for the catch on this. He just visited the Arkansas place that's offering financial motivation for you to leave your Missouri home and make it your new hometown.

Not that I don't trust Nick, but I confirmed what he said about Blytheville, Arkansas offering to pay you to move there from Business Insider. It says that Mississippi County Arkansas is offering up to $50,000 (yes, $50,000) for home renovations or new builds. That's impressive especially by Arkansas standards. (No offense intended, Razorbacks)

But, first, a reality check. Blytheville, Arkansas has its issues with crime. Yes, it's improving, but...

It also appears that Missouri people might want to watch out for the dogs in Blytheville, Arkansas, too.

I know that every city in America has challenges and Blytheville is no different. I will give them credit for giving people a real incentive to consider life there. $50,000 towards a home is no small thing. Should you move from Missouri to there? I hear they get less snow, so that might be a reason.
