According to an article from newstalkkgrz.com, there is "no need" to ban the wildly popular social media app TikTok in the Show-Me State anytime soon. In the article they say...

"Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson recently signed and executive order banning it from all government devices in Arkansas and Missouri US Senator Josh Hawley has made similar calls. But Missouri Governor Mike Parson does not share the same concern with this GOP counterparts. Parson and his staff argued there are already enough limitations to the apps usage"

Why is there a call for a ban on TikTok? Well, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley calls TikTok a "Trojan Horse" for the Chinese Communist Party, if you want more information on his thoughts click here!

Where do you stand on this issue?

Personally, I don't have a TikTok account and don't have the app on my personal phone. I have many reasons why I have never joined TikTok, the main one being that when TikTok became very popular a year and a half ago I said to myself "I love Twitter, I love Instagram, and I spend wayyyy too much time on Facebook already, I'm not adding another app to my plate" that was my honest reaction to it. Now, seeing all of the reports about why our leaders want to ban TikTok makes me very nervous about downloading it.
