There are some stores that we love to visit often. Many don't last forever, but there are some that we wish would.

Stores We Miss in Quincy/Hannibal

Barrels-n-Bins is that store for me. I don't know why. Maybe cause as a kid I also had about $2 on me and I would spend it on candy and junk. You know like a normal kid would. I miss Kmart, Sears, Payless Shoes, and others.

There is Also...

KB Toys - Located in the mall, this was the place to get all the latest toys. I miss having a store dedicated to just toys. Yes, some stores have toy sections. But an actual TOY store? I admit I would go in there and play with the toys myself.

Merkel's - This was a local sporting goods store located next to The Abbey restaurant. But with big box stores coming into the mix, it just couldn't survive much longer. The building has since been demolished to make way for a larger parking lot for The Abbey.
