Quincy Among List of 14 Prettiest Towns in Illinois – We Agree
Welcome to Quincy, Illinois. Home of the Lincoln-Douglas debate, John Wood Community College, Quincy University, and some of the prettiest places to just sit and relax.
At least that's what World Atlas just called Quincy, one of the 14 prettiest towns in America, and I cou;dn't agree more. There is just something about getting some lunch, a drink, or some ice cream and just sitting at Clat Adams Park to take in all the sights and sounds. Especially as the sun is setting.
Victorian and Federal-style architecture provide a picturesque backdrop in the town of Quincy. The John Wood Mansion, once home to a prominent Illinois politician, and the Villa Kathrine, a unique Moorish-style mansion, attract architecture enthusiasts
They even called out a few businesses to try.
Quincy Brewing Company and State Street Bar & Grill are your go-to for unwinding.
I like to think our small town of Quincy, Illinois is a pretty town to take those Insta photos. With all of the historic buildings, there are plenty of places to get those best background shots no matter what time of the year it is. Other Illinois towns making the list include:

It's nice to see Quincy on a list like this and I can only hope that as the town grows and grows in population and in businesses the town will be on more lists like this.
