Now That Target is in Quincy What Business Should Come to Next?
Every time and I mean every time, we would poll our readers and ask which businesses would they like to come to Quincy/Hannibal Target was always the top choice. Well, the time has come when we FINALLY have a Target in the Tri-States, so what business should come next?
If it were up to me I would love to see a Home Goods, Michaels, or Ross Clothing Store just to have a little bit more options when it comes to clothing and home decor. As for restaurants, well, Olivie Garden always seemed to be a top choice followed by Chick-Fil-A, Cracker Barrel, and somehow Pizza Ranch.
My hope for the Tri-State area is with Target here we can prove to other box stores that the Quincy/Hannibal area is ready for their company to find a home in the Tri-States. And with more people coming to Quincy to visit the new Target that could mean more people shopping at downtown stores, stores close to Target, and eating at restaurants that maybe they have not tried before. There are plenty of spaces and empty lots and buildings for all of these businesses to come to the Tri-States.
As we all wait patiently to find out what the former Shopko building will become and what restaurants will be coming to Quincy (in front of Target) we can only hope (or at least me) that one if not more of the above businesses come to Quincy or Hannibal/ It's been fun watching both towns grow over the years and I am very excited to see what's next.
