Presidents and Political Figures Buried in Missouri
Hannibal also has its share of local legends buried in cemeteries throughout town. Among them are Samuel Clemens' (Mark Twain) parents, John and Jane Clemens, who are both buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Samuel Cross, a prominent early settler and businessman in Hannibal, is also buried in the city. So is Warren G. Wood, an inventor and entrepreneur who made his mark on Hannibal's history.
