Hannibal Gets Roasted – A.I. Takes on Missouri’s Famous Town

Alright, Hannibal, you asked for it, but remember I warned you.

The other day, I had Chat GPT (A.I.) roast Quincy, and (in a funny way) it was accurate to a "T." I thought it would be fun to roast Hannibal as well, and when I got the results, it was funny but a bit harsh. However, many of you contacted me wanting to have Hannibval roasted, and so here it is.

Now, I hope no one's feelings get hurt, and let me make it VERY CLEAR. I love Hannibal. Two of my favorite festivals take place in Hannibal. The restaurants are amazing, and the retail shops are great. With that said, Chat GPT has some thoughts of its own regarding Hannibal.

Oh, Hannibal, Missouri—the town where Mark Twain gets all the credit for anything remotely interesting. You’ve got a river, some caves, and a museum that people "promise" to visit one day. The whole place seems like it's been frozen in time, except instead of embracing history, you're just hoping tourists will mistake "rustic charm" for "we can't afford renovations.

And those Twain quotes plastered everywhere? Pretty sure he’d have a sarcastic field day if he saw how hard you're riding his coattails. It’s like the whole town is one giant tribute to a guy who left... on purpose.

Then there’s the Mississippi River, which runs through Hannibal like a reminder that even water tries to leave town. If you're into dodging mosquitoes and questionable street festivals, this might just be the vacation spot for you.

Remember this is a roast and all in fun. Hannibal is one of my favorite places to visit often and truly is America's Hometown.
