With the announcement earlier this week that In-N-Out Burger will be expanding East, could we see one coming to Missouri?

I have never had an In-N-Out Burger, so I can't tell you either way if I would like to have a restaurant closer or not. But many of my friends have said it's one of the best burgers they've ever had. The California-based company which has over 385 restaurants already made a BIG announcement about the future. Currently only based in California,  Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Texas the company announced that they are expanding east with a brand new location in Tennessee.

For now, Tennessee seems to be the only Midwest location that has been announced and it won't open for a few years. But, it only takes one restaurant to open in the Midwest before several more are announced. Look at what Whataburger has done. Because of Patrick Mahones and his love for Whataburger, there are plans to build five more restaurants that will be coming to Missouri.

According to eatthis.com,

the Tennessee locations tentatively planned for 2026 will be supported by In-N-Out's meat production facility in Lancaster, Texas.

It seems because the restaurant refused to use frozen beef patties and fries that seems to be why In-N-Out Burger has not expanded so far.

All locations must be within 300 miles of one of their patty-making meat distribution centers, currently located in only two states: California and Texas.

So with this new facility opening in Tennessee, there seems to be some hope that Missouri could soon (in a few years) be getting an In-N-Out Burger depending on where the facility is located in Tennessee.
