With eerie tales, haunted history, and spooky sites, Missouri is covered with some of the creepiest places in the nation.

If you're looking to take a brave tour among the most haunted places in the Sho-wMe States these are the best of the best when it comes to getting your skin to crawl.

Best Ghost Tours in Missouri

Joplin, Missouri is home to some of the spookiest sites in the Show-Me state. The town has a long history of hauntings both past and current. The Joplin Library seems to be a hot spot for paranormal activity. I don't think you will see Slimer in the basement, but you never know what you will come into contact with.

I LOVE walking the Haunted Hannibal Tour, they do such a good job on the history and telling of ghost stories. You can also do some ghost hunting of your own on the tour.

The most famous haunted place to visit in Missouri is the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis. In fact, a team of paranormal investigators found a ghost and it's terrifying. If you dare to take this tour (which I never have) you might encounter something or someone that may not be human.

These are just some of the many tours that are available in Missouri to take, that's if you dare. I like going on ghost hunts as long as it's during the day and I can see sunlight, once that sun goes down and it gets dark I am not sure I could handle ghost hunts.
