Illinois’ Home Foreclosure Rate on the Rise

A new report shows Illinois' home foreclosure rate rose 6 percent in October. That's 19 percent higher than the same time last year. Data released today by California-based RealtyTrac shows the state had nearly 15,000 foreclosure filings in October.
