Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan Releases Safe Shopping Guide

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has released a list of toys and children's products that have been recalled.

With her 2015 Safe Shopping Guide, Madigan gives descriptions and supplies photos of nearly 100 children's products recalled in the last year, including toys, children's furniture and playsets.

Among the items listed on the guide are Disney pencil cases, a Peanuts airplane pull-toy sold at Target and a Pottery Barn Darth Vader water bottle.

Toys recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission should not still be on store shelves, however, officials say they could show up at secondhand stores or discount websites.

Madigan also says parents should have some understanding of which their children are doing with the technology being given them.
