Human Foot Found in St. Charles County

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — Police are investigating after skeletal remains of a human left foot were found inside a shoe along the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Charles County.

Motorcyclists noticed the shoe yesterday with a black sock sticking out, gave it a closer look and realized remains of a foot were inside.

The foot was sent to the St. Louis County Medical Examiner's office.
