A western Illinois woman is accused of setting fire to a hotel where she was working.

The Quincy Herald-Whig reports that prosecutors in Hancock County charged 34-year-old Terri Gatewood of Nauvoo with aggravated arson in connection with the Wednesday blaze at Nauvoo Family Inn and Suites.

Authorities say the hotel was occupied at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported.

Online court records don't show whether Gatewood has an attorney.

She remained jailed without bond Thursday.

The felony arson charge is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
