Hannibal Man Wins $50,000 in Powerball Drawing

A Hannibal man is $50,000 richer as a result of the March 23rd Powerball drawing.

51 year old George Kells is a regular lottery player, but it was his wife who purchased the winning ticket for him from Abel’s Quik Shop on Broadway.

The ticket had four of the five winning white ball numbers, making Kells a winner.

According to a press release from the Missouri Lottery, Kells said he would pay some bills and might take a vacation with his winnings, along with giving the clerk who sells him his lottery tickets a slice of the windfall.
