A Hannibal man is sentenced to prison Friday on federal drug charges.

32 year old Joseph Richardson was sentenced in federal court in St. Louis to 70 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana.

Richardson had pleaded guilty to the charges last October.

A search of Richardson’s home in Hannibal last fall revealed more than two kilograms of pot and 244 grams of cocaine, along with a scale, bags, capsules and cash.

Richardson was on supervised release when he was arrested. Two years of his sentence is for revocation of his supervision.
