Hannibal Man Arrested for Stealing from Vehicles at Football Game
A Hannibal man is in jail after allegedly stealing items from vehicles parked at a high school football game last Friday night.
Police in Owensville, Missouri report 51-year-old David Carter was passing through the area, stopped at two school parking lots and allegedly broke into the vehicles of fans attending a football game between Owensville and St. Francis Borgia.
Carter is currently on parole for stealing.
The items stolen from the vehicles were recovered from Carter’s residence in Hannibal.
Carter is in the Marion County Jail, pending the issuing of warrants in Gasconade County.
