Governor Jay Nixon Criticizes Missouri Lawmakers Over New State Office Building

Missouri lawmakers have approved funding for a new state office building, but Governor Jay Nixon has criticized the idea. A spending plan endorsed this past week includes $38 million for planning, design, and construction of a state office. Nixon says he has not heard anyone say Missouri needs a "brand new building for bureaucrats in Jeff City."
