A tip from a Facebook group in the business of trapping sexual predators leads to the arrest of a Pike County, Illinois man Thursday.

According to Pike County Sheriff David Greenwood, KTS Predator Hunters LLC is a Facebook investigative group that poses as underage children to identify adults who try to solicit children on the internet.

Based on information provided by KTS, Pike County deputies arrested 37 year old James Chestnutt Thursday at his residence in Nebo.

Chestnutt had been on mandatory supervised release from the Illinois Department of Corrections for ten days before his arrest.

Chestnutt is charged with indecent solicitation of a child, grooming, distributing explicit material to a minor and on a parole violation warrant.

Chestnutt is in the Pike County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation and additional charges are likely.
