Pedestrian Dies

(QUINCY)—A Quincy man is dead of injuries sustained in a car-pedestrian accident in the 5000 block of Broadway at 7:12 p-m Wednesday. Quincy Police say 29 year old Paul Cowgill of Quincy was walking southbound across Broadway when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 27 year old April Peters of Quincy. Adams County Coroner Jim Keller says Cowgill died of his injuries at 11:20 Wednesday night at Blessing Hospital. Peters refused treatment at the scene. Cowgill was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
