Driver Ticketed in Quincy Car-Truck Crash

(Quincy) – No one is hurt but one driver is ticketed as the result of a two vehicle crash at North 36th and Ellington Road in Quincy at 4:32 p.m. Friday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 54-year-old David Shupe of Quincy was westbound on Ellington pulling a flat bed trailer when he was struck by a southbound car driven by 17-year-old Zachary Walker of Quincy.

Walker’s car came to rest on its side. Both drivers were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Walker was ticketed for failure to yield at an intersection.
