Dr. Pranav Parikh has been named as Hannibal Regional Healthcare System’s Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Parikh previously served as the hospital’s Vice President – Quality and Medical Affairs, a position he held since March 2012. He has also served the community as a board certified physician practicing pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine since August 2000.

In addition, Dr. Parikh has been awarded the degree of Certified Physician Executive (CPE) by the American College of Physician Executives and also recently became certified in population health by the Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Parikh has been a very active leader on the Hannibal Regional medical staff having served as President from 2010 to 2012.

As Hannibal Regional’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Parikh is responsible for providing leadership and guidance for all clinical services, the practices of all physicians employed by Hannibal Regional, and initiating and maintaining collaborative relationships throughout the medical community.
