People in 10 Illinois counties have approved measures supporting the right to carry hidden weapons. The non-binding measures passed in Adams, Bond, Henry, McDonough, Mercer, Randolph, Rock Island, Schuyler, Stephenson and Warren counties. Advocates say they hope the results put pressure on state lawmakers to pass a concealed carry law. Governor Pat Quinn opposes such a law.
