Chicago Man Jailed for Home Invasion

(Adams) – Adams County Sheriff’s deputies respond to a report of a home invasion and assault at a residence in Adams at 3:22 p.m. Friday.
Deputies learned that 21 year old Dantae Knighton of Chicago allegedly got into an argument with the victim outside the residence. When the victim when inside the residence, Knighton pushed his way in and began punching the victim. Knighton left the scene and was taken into custody about two miles from the residence.
Knighton is in the Adams County Jail for home invasion and domestic battery. The victim was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
