Broadcast Electronics Has New Owner

A long time Quincy manufacturer has a new owner.

In a press release, Broadcast Electronics announces the acquisition of the company’s outstanding units by IIC Acquisitions, an entity founded by BE’s Vice President of Engineering Brian Lindemann.

Broadcast Electronics President and CEO Tom Beck says that, after being owned by a number of private equity firms over the years, this is the right ownership direction at the perfect time. Beck says BE will be able to focus on the best equipment to serve its customers’ needs.

Lindemann joined BE in 2008. Prior to that, he was designer and developer of high tech communication products.

Broadcast Electronics opened in 1959 and manufactures broadcast transmitters and studio automation systems.
