Bowling Green Man Arrested for Shooting at Airplane

A Bowling Green man has been jailed for allegedly shooting at an airplane.

Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte says deputies received a report about 9:30 Friday morning that someone was shooting at a crop dusting plane from their residence at the west edge of Bowling Green.

An investigation led to the arrest of 26 year old Don Weaver, Jr. on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon.

Weaver is in the Pike County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond.
