Body Found Outside Independence Convenience Store

Independence police are investigating the death of a person outside a convenience store.

KMBC-TV reports that the discovery was made early Monday as a 7-Eleven clerk was carrying trash to a bin. Police said another person has been taken into custody for questioning.

No other information was immediately available, including the name of the person who died.
