Illinois State Police report three DUI and drug or alcohol citation resulting from Special Traffic Enforcement Patrols last month.

The increased enforcement in Adams and Pike County also resulted in 177 speeding citations and warnings and nine occupant restraint violation. Seven drivers were cited for distracted driving. The added enforcement was part of the nationwide Click It or Ticket campaign.
