Along with the 46 new COVID cases in Adams County, health department officials elsewhere in western Illinois reported 38 new cases Wednesday.

30 of those new confirmed cases were reported in Pike County. They included a child under the age of ten, 18 females age 20s to 90s and eight males age 30s to 60s.

There have now been 300 COVID cases in Pike County, with 137 active, eleven hospitalized and four deaths.

Hancock County reported five new coronavirus cases Wednesday – three females age 20s to 70s and two males ages in their 20s to 30s.

Hancock County has now had 305 cases, with 44 active, 257 recoveries and four deaths.

The Brown County Health Department reported three new COVID cases, males in their 30s to 50s.

The Brown County coronavirus case county is now 103, with 24 active, one hospitalized and 79 recoveries.
