Fall is officially here, which means cooler weather, leaves falling, and plenty of time to get with family and friends to do 100 fall bucket list items this year.

I just love this time of year, you get to open the windows and air out the house, decorate for fall/Halloween, and it's the season right before my favorite time of year Christmas (and yes, I already have a tree up). Besides all of that, I love getting out and exploring pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and spending time with my girls. So, here's a list of fall bucket list items that I suggest doing this year before Mother nature brings on snow (yuck). These are simple and fun, no need to spend a ton of money on these items.

Fall Bucket List

1. Paint Pinecones
2. Go to a Play (QCT will be hosting Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook)
3. Make a handprint turkey
4. Make a haunted house
5. Make caramel apples
6. Go to a homecoming parade
7. Go on a fall foliage bike ride
8. Take a scenic drive
9. Host a fall party
10. Have a family game night outside around the firepit
11. Tell ghost stories
12. Plants some mums
13. Fly a kite
14. Check out a fall book from your public library
15. Have a picnic
16. Read a book outside
17. Have a campfire
18. Sleep in a tent in your backyard
19. Make s'mores
20. Go on a hayride
21. Go to a local pumpkin patch
22. Go to a fall festival (many still to come in the Tri-States)
23. Drink Hot Chocolate on a cool night outside
24. Make your Halloween costume
25. Bob for apples
26. Have a pumpkin carving contest
27. Attend a High School football game
28. Eat candy corn (I dislike candy corn so much, but hey if it's your thing go for it)
29. Decorate your trick-or-treat bag(s)
30. Paint your pumpkins
31. Make a fall wreath (I need to learn how to do this)
32. Jump in a pile of leaves (now this is fun)
33. Drink hot cider (or a pumpkin spiced latte)
34. Bake pumpkin bread
35. Go through a corn maze

These are just some ideas that came to mind that I enjoy doing with my family every fall. So get out there and enjoy this weather we are about to have because this is the midwest and you know that weather can change with the snap of your fingers.
