Comstock-Castle Stove opened in 1838 in Quincy and is still open today. The business' main focus is stove manufacturing and is said to be the oldest stove manufacturer in the USA and perhaps the world. The present management of the company is the sixth generation of the Castle family, dating back to the American Civil War.

Knapheide Manufacturing opened in 1848 and was a major producer of work truck bodies and beds. Knapheide is considered North America's most popular manufacturer of these items. They have been around through wars, The Great Depression, and devasting floods and have stood strong.

Welcome to Underbrinks Bakery which has been in business since 1929, and if you can't do math in your head (like me) that's 93 years. 93 years of baking some of the best pastries, cakes, and treats that I have ever tasted. It all started when Claude Unerbrink opened the bakery with making made from scratch baked goods in 1929 and the tradition continues to this day.

All three of these companies no matter how big or small have proven to stand the test of time and we are so lucky to have them in Quincy.
