Ursa Man Indicted on Sexual Assault Charges

An Adams County grand jury indicts an Ursa man on sexual assault charges.

Court records indicate that 32 year old Richard Ellis was indicted on three counts of predatory criminal sexual abuse of a child.

Ellis was arrested July 18th after an investigation by Adams County Sheriff’s deputies of a sexual assault complaint.

Ellis is alleged to have had sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 between 2011 and 2015.

Ellis is scheduled for a status hearing August 14th. He is in the Adams County Jail on $400,000 bond.
