The Scottrade Center—home of the St. Louis Blues—is no more.

Now don’t worry, it’s not going the way of the Checkerdome or anything. It’s just getting a new sign on the door. The Scottrade Center (formerly the Savvis Center and formerly formerly the Kiel Center) has another new name: Enterprise Center.

The name goes into effect later this summer and will last (at least) fifteen years.

Founded in 1957 in St. Louis by the late Jack C. Taylor, Enterprise Rent A Car is currently headquartered in Clayton, Missouri. They are the largest rental car company in the United States.

In addition to being the home ice of the Blues, the facility at 14th and Clark in downtown St. Louis, which opened in 1994, has held many NCAA events, dozens of legendary concerts, and even a visit by The Pope.

Here’s hoping Enterprise Center can be home to The Blues’ first Stanley Cup (fingers crossed).
