A Quincy man who had been acquitted of robbing a Quincy credit union last year is in jail for allegedly robbing a bank in Wellsville, Missouri.

Authorities in Montgomery County report 29 year old Pierre Parrish allegedly walked into the Martinsburg Bank and Trust in Wellsville Thursday morning with a pistol and demanded money.

After Parrish left the scene in a car with an undetermined amount of money, a car chase and then a foot pursuit ensued. Parrish was taken into custody near North Callaway High School in Kingdom City.

Parrish’s getaway car apparently had been reported stolen from Adams County September 21st.

Parrish is in the Montgomery County Jail, charged with robbery, armed robbery and tampering.
