The 2014 season of what has become a summer mainstay in downtown Hannibal has been extended.

The Music Under the Stars concert series was to have ended its season July 31. Officials with the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum announced Thursday morning that two additional concerts have been added to the schedule.

Tonight (July 24), the group Lucky Old Sons will perform, with Murray McFarlane, Seth Wade and Mike Moore on stage on July 31.

The new concerts added feature the acoustic cover group Seven Days Fuller August 7, and the well known local band Steppin' Back August 14.

All the Music Under the Stars events start at 7 p.m. on the grounds of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home. In case of rain, the concerts are moved to the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Food and drink is made available at each concert.
