Due to the threat of showers and possible thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening, the weekly Music Under the Stars concert, featuring the group Blend, will take place at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.
The 39th annual Autumn Historic Folklife Festival descends upon downtown Hannibal Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, and the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum will be right in the middle of the action.
It is the Seventh season of Music Under the Stars in Hannibal.
The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum sponsors the free concert series. The next will be this Thursday, July 25. Grammy award winning bluegrass musician Carl Jackson and his friends Larry Cordle and Jerry Salley will entertain starting at 7 p.m. This is the trio's third performance at Music Under the Stars.
