The data shows Missourians Love to Work

There is new data out that shows the people of the Show-Me State don't quit, here is the proof that Missourians love to go to work...

According to a new list from the experts at WalletHub, Missouri ranks 42nd in the nation when it comes to "quitting" their jobs. WalletHub says "Although the so-called Great Resignation is now over, workers in some states are quitting their jobs more frequently than in others. As a result, workers in states with a bigger labor shortage have more leverage in negotiating favorable terms of employment." The great resignation happened during the COVID-19 pandemic when millions of Americans were quitting their jobs.

Missouri has a resignation rate of 2.28% of employees quitting their jobs over the last 12 months, compared to 3.18% in Delaware, 3.50% in Alaska, and 3.32% in Montana. Overall, Missouri and the midwest states of Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and Kansas, are all below average when it comes to employees quitting their jobs. To see the full list, click here!

No, not at all. Missourians are hard-working people and are working jobs that they take pride in. Now that isn't all Missourians, I'm sure there are people in Kansas City and St. Louis who are working jobs they hate and quit constantly. But the majority of Missourians are in small towns and suburbs that are hard-working and committed to their profession. Quitting your job is easier for people in big cities with a lot of job opportunities but in small towns and rural communities you are working a job for years and years, and sometimes for life.
