A Louisiana man reported missing Sunday has been located and is safe.

In a press release on the Louisiana Police Department Facebook page, they report that officers received a call about 4 p.m. Tuesday from an individual in Pawnee, Illinois that 22 year old Jacob Burse was at his residence.

Pawnee Police went to the residence and spoke with Burse, who told the officers he is safe and fine and that he has been in touch with his family.

Burse had left his home in Louisiana Friday afternoon, telling family he was headed for Quincy and would be home Sunday.

When he didn’t show up, the missing person alert was filed.
