Fire Destroys Barn Near Canton

(CANTON)—A barn fire Sunday afternoon meant more work for Canton firefighters. Canton and LaGrange firefighters were called to 1106 Marks Drive at 4:45 p.m.
The Canton Press News Journal reports several round bales next to the barn also caught fire. Owners Jim and Ginny Oliver told the Journal they had burned brush earlier in the afternoon but those fires were several feet away from the barn.
