Bowling Green Man Dies in Rollover Crash on US 54

A one vehicle crash early this (TU) morning claims the life of a Bowling Green man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 28 year old Loel Chatman of Bowling Green slid out of control on an ice covered bridge on US 54 west of US 61 at 12:02 a-m. Troopers say the SUV went off the road and overturned. A passenger in the SUV—28 year old Don Weaver of Bowling Green was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Loel Chatman was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Another passenger—36 year old Cinda Smith of Louisiana was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital at Lake St. Louis for treatment of moderate injuries.
