There were a number of weather related traffic crashes Wednesday and Wednesday night.

Four Collinsville, Illinois residents suffer minor injuries in a single vehicle crash on Highway 61 in Pike County at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol reports 41 year old Doyle Million was southbound, traveling too fast for conditions. Million lost control of his SUV and it overturned.

Million and one of his passengers, 38 year old Teresa Smart, were taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. Two other passengers, 19 year old Sierra Smart and 12 year old Abigail Smith, were taken to St. Joseph’s West Hospital for treatment.

A Louisiana teenager was hurt in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a pickup driven by 16-year-old Lane Burleson ran off the road and overturned.

The accident happened at 1:45 p.m. on Highway 79 near County Road 115 northwest of Louisiana. The patrol said the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

Burleson was taken by private auto to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana with what the patrol described as minor injuries.

A Warsaw man is hospitalized as the result of a single vehicle crash on County Highway 32 northeast of Warsaw at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Illinois State Police reports 76 year old James Green lost control of his SUV on the snow covered roadway and drove it off a bluff.

Green was taken to Carthage Memorial Hospital for treatment. The crash is still under investigation.

A Revere woman suffers minor injuries in a single vehicle crash on Clark County Route C east of Revere at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol reports 47 year old Debra Farmer was westbound when she lost control of her SUV on the snow covered roadway. The vehicle ran into a ditch and struck an embankment.

Farmer was taken to Keokuk Area Hospital for treatment.
