Two Vehicle Crash at North Fifth and US 24

(QUINCY)—A Quincy woman is charged with running a stop sign following a collision between her SUV and a truck at US 24 and North Fifth at 11:17 Thursday morning. Quincy Police say 19 year old Jessica Benz was northbound on North Fifth when she failed to stop at the stop sign for US 24. Benz vehicle crashed into the side of a semi driven by 39 year old Dennis Smith of Quincy.  Benz was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment following the crash.
