Two Vehicle Crash at New London Kills Hannibal Woman

(NEW LONDON)—A Hannibal woman is dead following a collision involving her car and a pickup truck at US 61 and Ralls County Route A near New London at 7:40 Wednesday night. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 32 year old Alice Wisdom failed to yield and pulled into the path of a pickup driven by 59 year old Howard Harrell of Wentzville. Troopers say Wisdom was pronounced dead by Sheriff Gerry Dinwiddie. A passenger in Wisdom’s car—11 year old Alexander Daly was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
