Tire Blamed For Crash

(WAYLAND)—A tire in the road results in a one vehicle crash on US 136 two miles west of Wayland at 11:54 Tuesday morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 21 year old Megan Ricklein of Trenton swerved to avoid a tire in the road that had come off of a semi. Ricklein’s SUV overturned… coming to rest in the roadway. She was taken to Keokuk area Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
