Suspicious Person Reported Near a Quincy School

Quincy Police warn of a suspicious person.
Officers say they’ve received reports of a male in a black truck asking students if they want to see his dog as if trying to lure kids to his truck. Similar reports have been received around Adams County. A citizen reported Tuesday seeing a white male driving a newer black truck with a camper top and a dog—possibly an Irish Setter trying to talk to children near Adams School. Police say the man is 60 to 70 years old with gray shaggy hair. Police say it is unknown if Tuesday’s event is related to earlier incidents in the county.
