Surveillance Video Leads to Theft Arrest near Ewing

Surveillance video helps authorities solve a late October theft report in the Highland High School parking lot. Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested 44 year old Tammy Pruitt of rural New London at the Mark Twain Casino Thursday after reviewing surveillance footage from the school and surrounding area. Pruitt is accused of taking items from a vehicle in the student parking lot. Pruitt was taken to the Lewis County Jail on the stealing charge. Deputies say Pruitt is a suspect in other vehicle related thefts. Her bond was set at $10,000.
