About 20 runners are on their way to from Hannibal Peoria in the annual St. Jude Run.

An additional 70 to 75 runners will join in around 5:30 today in Quincy. They expect to arrive in Peoria Saturday afternoon.

Participants must raise at least 750 dollars to run. Many come up with money far beyond that amount for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The run originally started with a run from the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis Tennessee to the St. Jude faclilty in Peoria. Several satellite runs including the run from Hannibal and Quincy have been added over the years.
