Shots Fired Call in Quincy Termed Accidental

Quincy Police say a late night shots fired call results from accidental discharge of a firearm.
Police were called to 910 Joshua at 11:35 pm Thursday. Officers were told a shot was accidentally fired through a bedroom window by neighbor Michael Tharpe. Tharpe was present as officers arrived. He told police he accidentally discharged the firearm in the residence next door. Tharpe was taken to the police department, cited for discharging a firearm, and released.
