According to an article from NBC Chicago, Raging Waves Waterpark in Yorkville, Illinois, will start its 17th season on June 1st and go all the way to September 2nd.

Waterparks are a lot of fun when you have the right attitude for a waterpark, meaning, if you are expecting them to be busy and understand that you need to be patient you won't be disappointed. But if you go to a waterpark and are just assuming that it won't be busy, especially a high-end popular park like Raging Waves, then you are going to be annoyed. My best advice is to not over plan your day at the waterpark, go with the flow (pun intended), and make sure you get there early to get yourself a place to sit, put towels down, and hang out. Or buy a cabana and go all out!
