Quincy Police Investigate Armed Robbery

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police are investigating an armed robbery late Thursday night in the 1000 block of Jersey. Police say three male victims reported being robbed at gunpoint at 11:58 p.m.

Victims told police that five or six black males and three black females approached them and that one of the males displayed a gun and ordered them to the ground. Items were taken from one victim and the suspects fled on foot. Police say some of the stolen items were recovered nearby along with a small caliber handgun. Police describe the male suspects as being in their mid 20s. The females are believed to be between 18 and 20 years old. No injuries are reported.
