Quincy Man Injured in Hunting Accident
A Quincy man escapes serious injury after he is accidentally shot by his hunting companion.
Adams County Sheriff's Deputies and EMS were called to a residence east of Quincy around 10:26 a.m. Saturday. They arrived to find a 28-year-old Quincy man suffering from a gunshot wound in the left thigh area. The shooter was an 18-year-old Quincy man who was hunting with the victim and others on family-owned property.
The victim was transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and released.
